In Full Bloom: The 2021 Seeds for Progress Gala

The Seeds for Progress Virtual Gala: Blooming through Education was a global success! For the second time we all gathered virtually to support education in coffee growing communities of Nicaragua and Guatemala.  Over 500 participants from 29 countries  joined us to support education of coffee communities and raise over US$245,000!  

This year’s theme “Blooming through Education” celebrates teachers and the essential role they play to develop and flourish through education. People from all over the world connected to the Gala’s live stream and were touched by the inspiring stories of Teacher Sobeyda and Evelyn, two resilient women who are part of Seeds for Progress’ network of teachers who are committed to planting the seeds of knowledge and grow brighter futures for children in coffee communities. Their stories are the story of education.  

This Virtual Gala is proof that despite the distance we can come together and make a long-lasting impact in coffee communities that create a circle prosperity for all.
